In the UK there is the ball-ache of unhitching in many locations, not so much an issue on the continental who are set up for this (especially on the peage in France)
I don't have an EV but I have had one on a long term test drive so whilst it's not my daily routine, I am familiar with charging etc. And hence for the foreseeable future, why I will never have one.

So going from 20-80% is a 60% increase in charge, so if you have an EV with say a 150 mile range towing a caravan, you're arrival at the services, unhitching, drive to the charge points, assuming there is no queue, 20 mins charging, if it works and it's a super fast job, go back and hitch up, will get you a further 90 miles at best. I think I'd rather be towing with my old 6 litre Jag, even that would manage 250 miles to a tank and could be refilled in less than 7 minutes at any petrol station.
