Did the same on my V50, I also piggybacked off the 12V socket in the centre consul for the power supply. The socket panel just lifts out and there was room for the camera power supply underneath. All the wires tucked under the trim without any trim removal. Wire from centre consul then under the dash and tucked behind the A pilar trim and behind the roof trim along the top of the windscreen. I did unclipp the trim around the centre mirror to drill a hole on it. I bolted the camera to this trim instead of using a sucker. A lot neater and tucks out of the way a bit better.
