I get the impression that quite a few do and I know at least one main dealer who does. It was a suprise to find it was true about the main dealers, even though I had been warned by perussell that some dealers wern't using the Volvo recommended oil.
I assume it's a cost issue, after all some only charge around £100 an hour so they have to make their profit somehow.
