No life
So my v70 d5 2008 has been sat for a week, i went to start it yesterday and.. nothing. Literally nothing, no interior lights hazards, nothing.
Took battery off, put it on a charger and charger said full, i left it maybe an hour while i did other stuff, put it back on the car, hazards flashed, and it started like nothing had happened.
Same today, no life whatsoever, battery charger says battery is full,10 mins later put a spare leisure battery on and fired right up.
Now i know that the charger could be lying and battery might be toast, but i'd at least expect to see a glow from an interior light or something, especially when that same battery starts it after an hour on a trickle charger.
Is there something on the car that shuts everything down if the voltage is a bit low?
Or is removing the battery just resetting something on the car?
(Anyone in uk want a cheap d5?)
