Default 940: Trailer electrical connection

Most probably your car is prewired for a trailer. If you locate connector D5 for the tow bar electrics, you can use the 12V accessory wire (pin 9). This feed is powered via a 30A fuse (nr. 3). You can probably find connector D5 somewhere at the NS rear wheel arch. Pin 10 of this connector is a switched 12V feed from fuse no. 8 (15A).
At the front there should also be two 4 pole accessory connectors D19 & D20 left of the glove box compartment. Pin 4 of either connectors (green red wire) is an unfused 12V feed directly from the battery. Pin 2 (orange wire) of D19 is a switched 12V feed via 15A fuse no. 14.
This is all for a 940. I do'nt know for a 960, but I guess the trailer connection will be there as well.
