This is the black rubbery seal that goes all the way round the rim of the boot, with the exception of the edge of the rear window. It is completely intact with the dished end-pieces, and stored correctly without being creased by cable ties etc. I bought it as a spare from a Volvo breaker on eBay, before I determined that it was the brake light seals that water was getting in through, so I never fitted it.
