Default Familiar XC60 oil leak

I have the familiar oil leak on my 2014 XC60 D5 AWD from the nipple on the air inlet pipe.

I'm using this video as a guide to what I need to do as regards resealing.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kLhsfrZ6vKE

The video does omit one step however – when the charge air pipe is shown detached it is unclear how they detached the nipple from the crimped on connection to the small hose

I have arrowed in the crimped connector on the attached photo.

My assumption is that it will be necessary to cut off this connector and replace it with another jubilee type clip. The groove in the hose that the clip fits into is narrower so it can’t be the 12mm or so width of the clip on the other side, looks more like 7-8mm width is required.

Any advice / comments appreciated
