Default Screen Washers

Screen washers packed up on the 960 on friday , h/light and rear screen working fine.
Checked plugs on tank , both OK , then started pulling pipes and found the non return valve / splitter was leaking. This brought back memory's of my Saab 9000,same thing happened on that, only on the Saab the whole tank drained through the valve.I managed to effect a repair that lasted for weeks and as the Volvo valve is of the same construction I thought I would try again and it works.
Prize the red cap off the valve and clean out the remainder of the ruptured diaphram, find an Elastoplast/Band Aid and pull off a piece of backing, this will be your new diaphram.By applying marker pen on the edge of the red cap and then pushing the cap down on the plaster backing,it will leave a mark that you can cut around , place the disc into the valve , snap the cap back on,and Bobs your Uncle.
