I currently have an auto 855GLE T5 Ex plod (243k!). All history misplaced by previous elderly owner

I'm looking for a 240 Estate for a new project next year and will be up for an exchange on mine,as it's not worth a great deal with no history.
I'm sticking on 6 months Tax at the end of this month,and i think it's Mot'd until September 09' sometime.
Fitted with V70 rear clusters,Volvo CD,boot spoiler,roof rails and Volvo dog guard.
It cost me £300 to buy and £300 to add the CD,DG,spoiler and clusters.
I'm not looking for a mint 240 at this price, but at least a legal one in half decent condition. Defo prefer a GLT or a car with the injected 2.3 as it'll make it easier to swap in the new engine

No outright sale,as it's all i can fit 'George' my BullMastiff in at the moment.
