Has anyone else had a s40/V50 2.0D ECU remapped?
Had mine done by Simon Coe of
www.CCCtech.co.uk 166bhp 380nm torque which is all very academic but the drivablility has increased dramatically, no more changing out of 6th to overtake on a slight incline, just put the toe down and it goes.... Fantastic!
Fuel consumption hasnt changed (48.7mpg) but all this new power is causing me to enjoy the car more so in a way i guess it has improved.
£250 for the work and £35 P.A. additional insurance but its worth every penny and I am not waiting for a D5 anymore... dont need too!
