I have used 0/30 Amsoil from 2001 from 125k to 400k (Mobile 1 from 59k) with by pass filtration taking out dirt down to 1 micron (dirt kills engines).
Laboratory oil anaylsis has shown over fueling, antifreeze to oil contamination and just lately, a tappet riding on the back of the cam (no clearence) iron parts per million rising.
Got all the ideas from Volvo Technical.
Can't fault it. People are now asking will it go 500k...........Easy
