Later 8 bolt engine has stronger con rods and a lot beefier main bearing caps. It is a good basis for further tuning work. Also is possible to go for a 2100cc re-bore using B21 pistons. The engine i got hold of had neoprene front and rear crank seals. I dont know if someone had fitted modified housings and seals in the past or if they became standard on the B20 after 1974?
