Default Update

Have changed the rear shocks for standard gas jobbies at the moment. Interesting to note quite how much lower the rear end is without self level
Having removed Nivos previously on both 240 and 940 the ride height did drop but not as much as the sport.
Therefore I must conclude that the Swedish Sport spec relied very much on the self level aspect of the Nivos to get the final ride height rather than the springs. This would place excessive load on the Shocks and may be the cause of the failure . I have had excellent durability from the Standard ride height Nivo in the past
I have always been 'old school' when it comes to handling and know that a bit of ' dig in' at the rear often gives better handling than the nivos fighting against their anti roll bars.
So I might stick to a shock and spring replacement from Bilstein or similar rather than paying £566 for the genuine rears. Any recommendations?
Front strut inserts come next.
Does anyone know if the strut tube nut special tool is the same as 240 (which I have)
