The purpose of fitting a fast road cam is to get more air/fuel mixture into the engine (hence more power) and the ecu would need to be reprogramed, but the easiest way to get more air/fuel mixture into a turbo is to increase the boost with a mbc and the ecu will still fuel it correctly up to about 14psi (standard boost is about 7psi). Cost will be about £25 and less than an hour to fit which compares favourably with several hundred pounds and as many days to fit and set up the fast road cam (which would still not provide the power increase of a boost upgrade).
