Anyway, if it is working you can hear it click when you press the foglight button, and the dash indicator light should come on. Pig of a job to get at it. You need to drop the steering column by slackening the holding bolts enough to extract the speedo pod. Speedo pod is very fragile, with lots of flimsy printed cicuit stuff on the back. I opened up the relay case and found that the solder had cracked around one of the connecting pins. Re-soldered the pin (careful not to overheat the electronic components) and it worked OK. Not a job to be tried unless you are familiar with mending PCBs - easier to buy a new relay.

Hi, thanks for your reply mate. I have located the relay and am going to have a crack at getting it out later. I cannot hear any clicking etc from the relay when pressing the button....cant hear anything at all and the light isnt coming on. I will hopefully cure it with the relay. cheers dave
