They will cut corners , Its £100 alone just for a pair of steering rods , will they replace these ? no , or fit a pair of cheap quality ones , All they want is a fast profit . your long term well being is not in their mind .
Was your rack leaking or was it just play?
Hi. The rack started leaking 2 weeks ago and the steering then made loud moaning noises on full lock when parking etc etc.

So what is your advice if my rack fails in a year or so? Are you saying that i should buy a brand new rack and other bits such as steering rods? Have you had a steering rack fail too?

Any advice welcome
