Well, i've got the pump out and the rubber pipe was fine so it looks like i'll be replacing the pump.
The cheapest bosch (i'm assuming bosch was the oem) pump i've seen is from euro car parts, £150 all in, the cheapest complete unit (new) I saw was @ £400.........GULP.
Looks like i'm going to have to bend over and get my bum smacked!!
