new cam belt
just treated the old 460 2.0i to a new belt. The old one had been on there 9 yrs and done 48k, the guide is to replace every 6yrs or 60k.
I was stunned to see the old belt looked as good as new, no missing teeth, no cracks, no nothing. Anyway, i am enjoying my new relaxed driving not waiting to hear a ping/crunch/grinding, and a trip to the scrappy to swap the old beast for a fifty pound note.
