What is the normal service interval for this? Will it have been done already (car has been well serviced by previous owner).
The normal interval for changing the cambelt is 60.000miles or 72 months. When you're not sure if it's done get it done is my advise. If it brakes it will cost you probably a new set of valves and if you're really unlucky a couple of pistons too! Best is to change the complete set, cambelt AND roller plus tensioner. If the roller or tensioner seizes it will cut through your brand new belt.
