Im sure they are identical plastic mouldings. I had a phase 1 and fitted phase 2 lights ok. The location of the brake light conrol unit was the only thing different. That and whether or not the LHD fog light plastic has been popped out.
I saw no difference in the cabling and bulb holders. Has your car been butchered for Lexus style rear lights or some such thing.
