Hi Chris & thanks for the info - you know what - looks like the Volvo specialist got it wrong - the sensor he ID'd as input from his info is labelled as output on the info you sent. I printed it off & will be paying another visit - as he is a colleague I will try not to be too grumpy - we all make mistakes! I checked the plate on the box & it is as shown in the PDF!
Fingers crossed we'll get the right one this time!
