A good service history is always a strong selling point and it's something to be shared with enthusiasm. If the dealer won't share the service history then there's something wrong.

Has he not got the service record with the dealer stamps? Or was the last service in 2017, perhaps?

You need to know about what happened in 2018 and 2019, and you need to know that he has the stamped service record.

If he won't share this information then he's probably hiding something and it would be best to tell him to truck off.
i never trust the stamp, you can get a stamp for a minor service when a major is due and they are easily made from ebay, i like invoices and printouts. It would appear that its been to the dealers regularly for work, but is due an oil swap on time alone, maybe a cambelt on years too.
