The young lad's car 122s m/od was leaking clutch fluid from the slave cylinder and it was very difficult to select 2nd and 3rd, often getting stuck in gear and only being able to be released after turning the engine off.

The slave and master have now been changed for new, with new rubber pipe and copper washer. I also adjusted the cable to ensure less pedal travel.

There still seems to be an intermittent (usually when colder) problem, again selecting those gears.

I am thinking of replacing the gearbox oil with Millers calssic EP80w90. Any views ?
