I have a White H Reg,1991 240 GL 1.9 Auto Estate with 89000 miles,11 months mot 5 months tax that I may sell, it needs a new Kick Down cable but drives very well but the kick down obviously does not work and the change up goes like this,1 st to 2nd 2500 RPM,2nd to 3rd 3500 RPM(50MPH) and 3rd to 4th 3500 RPM(70 Mph) so thats not right, I have had the gearbox flushed and new transmission oil added but I have not been able to locate a Kick Down cable and I know its going to cost me another 60 odd quid to get it fitted,so I am thinking of cutting my loses and letting her go to someone who can do the work themselves and get a good car for reasonable money. The body work is in good nick,paint work good,no rust,needs a passenger side chrome piece above bumper on corner,ideally needs two back light lenses as they are cracked all over the place and is missing a wheel hub,although I am on the look out for all the above cosmetic bits..So if anyone has them,let me know. I am not certain I want to sell but if someone came along with a good offer I may be tempted.What sort of money would I be looking at?
