Default 1992 940S for sale

My 'old faithful' Volvo 940S has finally decided it needs a repair to its cylinder head. A pressure check has revealed a crack in the head. It has given me 12 years/24K miles of trouble-free motoring. Prior to my ownership it had been garaged for 7 years by its previous elderly owner, who had become too incapacitated to drive. It has a few minor problems and blemishes, such as a temperamental speedo, front passenger seat heater switch, rear door child locks, a few cigarette burns to the upholstery etc. It passed its MOT test October 2021 with the following 'advisories': play on steering rack joints, disc shield corrosion, slightly worn rear shock absorber bushes, braking system requires adjustment/repair, offside brake cable damage (not to excess). That's about all the bad news!
Preceding the current cylinder head issue, it drove well and attracted many favourable comments on its overall condition, both in its appearance and mechanics. It has been serviced annually (last in Oct. 2021) from new with 27 stamps and has 4 excellent tyres.
I have done very little mileage over my ownership averaging about 2K miles per year and even less in recent years. I have considered having the head repaired/replaced but feel I now want a change.
Comes with 2 sets of keys, handbook, service records, majority of MOT certificates etc.
The Volvo is too good to scrap and is a present/future classic. It will have to be towed or removed by trailer.
I'm looking for the best cash on collection offer over 500.
