First thing I do after starting the engine on my wife's Mini is switch off the Stop/Start, I hate it. It's not a new invention I remember to back in the 80s when VW advertised it as the latest fuel saving device on the Polo Formel E and there were plenty times Polo owners were stranded at traffic lights when batteries & starter motors failed...
