Just for anyone who wants to know, my 2.3 auto had a 3.91 rear axle, the 2.3 turbo doner car has 3.54 and the similar age LPT turbo has a 3.73.
I'm using the 3.91 axle in my car now wit the ft turbo engine and manual box and acceleration in 2nd gear is very interesting. 70mph in 5th is about 3000rpm.
