If for an unknown-to-me reason the 901 isn't compatible, there is an SC900 on there too - but missing the 3CD cassette. Might still be useful if your 3CD cassette is not borked.
I bought the SC900 in the bottom link above in the end - £49 delivered so really can't complain. Just installed it, and it appears to work perfectly, both FM and CD, I haven't tried the tape but I'd expect that to work too. And the code written on it worked, so no aggro there. The 3CD cassette from my old one was in good condition and worked just fine in this, so absence of one has been absolutely no problem.

Sorted! A big thanks and thumbs up to Macclesfield Garages who sold it and sent it to me - nice one.

The old one had a fault where intermittently it would stop playing FM radio. AM radio and CD were fine, it just went silent on FM until you went over a bump then it'd come back on, then another bump and it'd go off. I thoroughly cleaned all the plugs at the back but no difference, I could reproduce the fault by tapping the case with a small hammer, so almost certainly a bad contact or solder joint somewhere, so I tried getting inside it to fix it but although I'm normally quite good at that sort of thing this one beat me. I figured that I'd probably break something if I tried to get deep inside it, so this replacement one has sorted me out with relatively little hassle in the end.

Cheers all!
