If your hub isn't stuck it may well work. If the hub has been off fairly recently it may also work but if it's stuck it's a poor choice compared to the proper one with a fine thread. With the proper puller and a co operative hub they just wind off with a couple of taps if needed. Some pukka Volvo pullers have a large nut which takes a large spanner. A ring one is best. The other type has a short bar for hammering on. You can get a short spanner to use on the nut type for hammering on, and they are good to have. A bit expensive for what they are but they have to be STRONG!
