Low oil pressure is fairly rare
a few cases of the seal failing between the pump and the feed pipe but only something you really see on engines that have been tampered with.
oil pump blocked with tar deposits
oil pump/oil ways blocked with instant gasket material.
wrong oil filter/and or oil type
in odd cases worn oil pump but you only see this on engines that have not been serviced
