Could be any one of a number of things - boost sensor on intercooler, sensor on manifold, turbo control sensor, turbo leak, bad turbo...which is why I paid for a smoke test and a 'proper' diagnostic.

I'll make a smoke tester tomorrow . . . before ordering a dozen sensors and a new turbo.
