Default window regulator removal

I worked it out! You need to remove the motor which releases the regulator to move freely - easily removed with three bolts; undo and remove the three bolts that secure the plastic tray for the inside (sprung) door handle and then take off the lower bolt that attaches the bottom of the handle to the regulator and move that mechanism to one side. The regulator then comes out really easily. If you also want to remove the latch, like I did, then you have to remove the piece of window channel inside the door but again this is easy as it is held on with one screw and slips down and out from inside the door.
