Hi, I have just bought a 2006 XC90 and looked at loads, you will get more than £9500 at the moment if your car is nice inside.
I looked at many cars, most were in a very poor state on the interior, with patch history, yet everyone wanted about £10 000 for 2004 - 2006 cars with 70 to 120 000 miles. I eventually found an 06 plate,pre facelift, SE with winter pack (all black inside and out), with 60 000 and full volvo history in nice condition at a specialist 4x4 dealer but had to pay £12500 cash. He was in no rush to sell and would not budge at all on price as he new he had a nice one, and they are few and far between.
The best private one I saw was a 53 plate S model with 123 000 for £7300 but it had a clutch vibration and needed 4 new brake discs, but was immaculate inside and out.
