A sigh of relief today for another year's MOT passed, but one advisory I could have done without - 'Centre rear - subframe corroded'. Nothing serious apparently, but they wouldn't let me under the lift to have a look for myself to view the damaged area. Wish I had access to a lift as I'm a bit old and creaky for groveling around underneath cars. I'm guessing that replacing the subframe if/when it becomes necessary isn't a quick Saturday morning job. Any thoughts?
