Relatively cheap, 500ml around £20. I will be performing an engine flush with a 5% solution in 10/40w oil followed by 2 more flushes just oil, using the method mentioned here.

Volvo forum in Poland have reported excellent results on the VEA engine, drastically reducing oil consumption.
