Just to clear up any misunderstanding I didn't state there was turbo lag at 35 in 5th; I stated it didn't want to pull 35 in 5th. I don't think any right minded diesel driver would expect it to take off like a scolded cat from 1000rpm in top gear. Since the diesel purge it will pull 35mph in 5th.
