Cheers IRF, Yes I checked the caps are all still present and secure just now and all appear fine. While I was checking the hoses at the bcs I noticed that those vacuum hoses weren't in the greatest of shape and as a result those ones you have highlighted in the picture are the ones I plan to renew at the weekend.
Is it possible I could have a blocked vacuum hose or bcs as a result of carbon build up somewhere?
Btw what is the part that hose 20, the red one, goes to at the turbo charger, is it the standard recirc valve?
