Graham from SVS can do some work from home (in Lancing) and has always liked 240s: seeing that's your area I could ask him if interested. Send me a PM or give me your email address for reply.

Hi,

Thank you for the quick reply re: Ingleside/Sussex Volvo Spares.

That's truly a shame as he was fantastic for advice and parts. However can't blame him as we all work to get us to retirement, thats when its time to relax and enjoy yourself.

We have just this morning in the rain towed the Volvo back to home. I will start with some diagnostic work tomorrow as it's meant to be drier. The garage doing to MOT work had played with it and said there was no power going to the ignition. I will however start from scratch.

If he could come or just offer advice as we are Worthing based that would be great. My father in-law has had lots of health over the last 3 years and its his "wanting to drive the car again" thats keeping him going .... he loves the car. For me its turn into a Love / Hate thing ha ha

I am more than willing to do the work but its always this time of year they play up -- weather turning etc.

My personal email address is;
** best not put that here **

Thank you for your offers so far even if nothing comes of it we do appreciate it.

My wife and I towed the Volvo home from central Worthing to West Worthing at 7:30 - typical it was raining hard and the volvo steamed up ! - Just so glad I have my Zafira back on the road as its the Diesel so brilliant for towing, that had the pump fail so I had to change it for a working pump.

Thanks again
Paul
