As I am thinking of getting a D5 but am, as yet, unsure whether to get an auto or manual I have been searching the forum for interesting topics - and found this one. I am thinking of getting a D5 circa 2006/7 with about 80,000 on clock. First of all - sorry for ignorance but the cars I am looking at have Geartronic autos - that is different from the Powershift in the thread is it? If so does a Geartronic generally suffer any similar issues at about this age? Is the manual box in D5 reliable given the torque it has to handle? Sorry if I am showing my ignorance here but any guidance would be gratefully received! Cheers Fred
