I checked with Admiral (my current insurer) before I ordered my XC90 with Polestar. They wanted to know whether the increase in power was less than 10% (which I believe it is) and this means the premium increase won't be too crippling. Like a previous poster, I was a bit taken aback about how they wanted to know every single add on I'd ordered, many of which will only improve the car's safety.
