The question - what is too quiet? What I might consider acceptable would be too quiet for a club (or some of the boom boxes that drive down the road) and may be too loud for some others.

If you have your Bluetooth set a max volume and the car set at max volume then that is as loud as it gets, though I find a wired connection is sometimes louder.
