I have cleaned up everything I can find, replaced the Volvo hose clips on the nipple heater as that was where the oil seemed to be coming from, slack pipe, a load of oil under the alternator too. Drained off about 3/4 of a litre from the sump and put a new sump plug in there whilst I was at it......
Will test drive again and see what happens.
