If you chaps able to obtain the part number that would be super !
My bonnet will only open by pulling the release lever ( which releases the nearside ) then go to the bonnet and lift it 1/4 of an inch, then return to the cabin and pull the lever again - bingo offside then releases.
I spent hours removing the catches, cleaning, lubing, adjusting all to no avail. I put it down to a stretched cross cable ( waiting for aftermarket to come in at half Volvo price ) but replacing the rubbers has got to be a sensible thing to do.
As you say Malc having bonnet issues is a real pain up the butt !
