Hi , I too suffered a stolen cat last summer and was able to source a replacement for my 1.8 GDI 2002 with the "hole" for the temperature sensor. Because I am in spain probably the regulation Gatos talks about may have been overlooked. Anyway, my problem is that I cannot find that temp sensor . Incidently the car runs fine with the hole plugged - if anything I feel it has a bit more "humpf" . I have been running it for almost a year now - the only nuisance is having the engine management warning light glaring at me all the time
