Default Volvo S70 cranking but not starting.

I have a volvo s70 1998 model, it's cranking but not starting. On trying to find the root cause i realised that the injectors were not spraying fuel continuously as the engine cranks. They just spray once when you first turn the and stops, its just one full cycle spray that's it. The engine will sound like it's about to start and stops immediately.
I did put the OBD machine and errors where picked. The engine is turning well on the live data statistics. However the only challenge is the fuel issue.
I did remove the fuel line from the injectors fuel cylinder, to see if the pump was supplying fuel, indeed it was. I checked the ECU to injectors wire there was no broken wires, everything is intact.

Could anyone help me with any idea on why the injectors do not want to continually supply fuel while i am cranking, thus causing the vehicle not to start. Thank you
