B4s are a bit more expensive than SACHS but much less than B6.
My B4 set cost me about 270GBP.
The B4 set fot P2 V70 has a mono-tube rear and twin-tube front absorber when I think B6 has mono-tube all around?

There are many factors to the poor steering response, I had refreshed most until the last to suspect were the subframe bushes. One bush had been deteriorated by oil or fuel leak and made the whole subframe alignment to play. In this case, there was no reason to put in the inserts, just had all bushes replaced and the steering response tightened up remarkably. IIRC there is an instruction on how to examine these bushes that involves lifting the car from main frame and measuring the displacement in the bushes?
