Truly appreciate all the tremendous advice being imparted here.
Speeds & assists the learning for me too.
So plan is to
1) remove gearbox+housing
2) check/replace both the Pilot & Release bearings
3) Check/replace clutch
...was informed “new clutch” had been installed at time of purchase this time last year though, and I’m not clutch-dropping lad nor clutch-rider.
And always stay on top of the necessary car oils.
Nonetheless - as Derek and Ron have both said : worth checking the lot !
I’ll post outcome - once had necessary time to start & complete the job.
