Yes get throttle cleaned asap. I have 03 V70 2.4SE same problem and no fault codes, cleaning throttle sorted it. I did it myself using Wynns Carb & throttle cleaner aerosol cost £6. Disconnected battery first and took throttle body off... say 15 mins max!
I cannot believe its the same car, response is so much better and no cut-outs.
