Thanks for the advice. I was planning on removing the glovebox etc tomorrow so i could confirm the one fitted in my car is the same as being a late P1 some parts seem to be P2 compatible...
I have no idea how to detach the connector... does the red clip play a part in it?? - or does the housing need to be uncliped and a screw removed from below ? It must detach otherwise it prevents the part from being replaced. My old Haynes manual simply says to "detach the cable conduit from the blower motor and move the wiring out of the way" The image just has more or less the same "unclip" is used to describe the cable removal
