Interesting...

It's a 2.0T, which has a LP Turbo on it. As far as I am aware the ETM light and everything works correctly and it has never suggested any sort of problem in two years of ownership. In fact, this is the third 2.0T C70 convertible I have owned over the years, and this one is by far the best to drive with a surprising amount of welly to it when pushed. Certainly no suggestions of any sort of lack of power and equally it was the same before the CPS change as after.

As I say, in my particular case it seems as if the CPS was in any event doing nothing at all since the car doesn't seem to have been missing it,! The fact it wasn't working only became relevant once I wanted to get cruise control working.

I should perhaps add that with the replacement sensor cruise works happily, and depressing the clutch disengages it as it should.
